  1. New Improvement: Sync Order Tags from Shopify

    Improvement

    Ricemill | Fulfilment now automatically syncs order tags from Shopify. Any tags you add in Shopify will now appear within the app, helping you organise and process orders more efficiently.

    Order tagging

    We have specific items which need to be sent by road-only and while it's easy for regular employees to know which items where are, it would be easier if Ricemill was able to tag the order according to the tags in Shopify to clearly know which items are hazardous and if they are express.

    Sync Order Tags from Shopify

    We use tags on our orders in Shopify to help separate them into different order types. Some of these are applied automatically with workflows. It would be really great to have the order tags sync into Ricemill and be used as filtering in the Order list as well as shown on the order screen when fulfilling. Thanks so much.

    You can now duplicate an existing order if you need to resend something to a customer, or create a new manual order for offline orders, promo materials, or influencer packages.

    Create label that isn't associated with an order.

    Manually create labels that are not attached to an order. We create labels to send to our customers for returns or we create them and send them to our suppliers sometimes to send stuff to us.

    Ability to add in manual orders

    It allows for adding a order manually for example when sending a replacement product if item has arrived lost of damaged or if i am sending promotional materials to a influencer or I have a order from another platform like etsy.

  3. Order lines with multiple quantities are now bolded

    Improvement

    Now, if an order item’s quantity is greater than 1, it will be bolded, making it easier to spot orders with multiple quantities at a glance.

    When items over 1 please make red to insure packing items

    When you dont have an option for scanner can we make inventory sales of the same item over 1 bold and red so its not missed

  4. Add footer text to invoice and packing slips

    Improvement

    You can now add a custom footer note to your invoices and packing slips!

    This lets you include helpful details such as business messages, return policies, or promotional info directly at the bottom of your PDF documents. Once set up, the footer will automatically appear in all printed invoices and packing slips.

    To configure your footer:

    * Go to Settings β†’ Documents

    * Scroll to the footer note section

    * Add your custom message and click Save

  5. New Australia Post extra small / 250g postage rate

    Announcement

    The new Australia Post 250g and extra small postage rate is available with extra small padded mailers for parcels up to 5kg or your own packaging for parcels up to 250g and provides an opportunity to send smaller items for less.

    Available within the Ricemill | Fulfilment platform now.

  6. New Report: Shipping Collected vs Shipping Cost

    We've added a new "Shipping Collected vs Shipping Cost" report that compares customer shipping fees collected against the actual shipping costs incurred.

    Would be helpful to see amount we actually charged for shipping and the cost that was charged by the courier in 1 report without the need to click on each individual order to see Thanks Chris

  8. Tracking Upload Issue to Shopify

    We're currently experiencing an issue with uploading tracking information to Shopify. Our developers are actively working to resolve it.

  9. Default filter for Express shipping

    New Feature

    We've added a new feature that automatically defaults the filter to "Express" when the shipping type is set to Express. This will help you quickly find the right rates and ensure that Express shipments are handled accurately.

    Filter Available Rates by Shipping Type

    When on the Fulfillment Screen it would be very helpful to Filter available rates by Shipping Type either Standard or Express. Taking it the next step further, if the rates could automatically be filtered based on what the orders shipping type was this would be a big help. Sometimes a customer has paid for Express Shipping and I may miss it because all the Parcel Post and Express Post rates are mixed together. Then I need to scroll back up to double check the shipping type. Would probably need some kind of mapping between order shipping type and AusPost Rate e.g. Orders that are imported into my store from eBay show as AU_Regular or AU_Express Thanks very much!

  10. Express shipping is now highlighted for better visibility

    New Feature

    To ensure that express shipping requests are more visible, we’ve highlighted the "Express" shipping method in yellow. This change is now applied to both the order list and the individual order fulfilment screen, making it easier to spot when a customer has selected Express shipping over standard shipping.

    Clearer distinction for orders with Express shipping

    Can we get the Shipping Method in both the order list and on the individual order fulfillment screen to display Express with more emphasis? Highlighted yellow? There is currently no differentiation and it's easy to miss when the customer has selected Express shipping over standard shipping.

    Follow these steps to set up the service type mapping for each shipping method:

    • Go to Settings->Fulfilment
    • Scroll to the Service type mapping section
    • Review each listed shipping method and set the appropriate service level.
