    Option to add new predefined package during order fulfilment

    Hey, can we please get an ADD predefined shipping product button/checkbox to add the one we just filled in to templates. This would mean rather than having to go in and add to use, it will add one from the shipment created. Would be a vast improvement if you can just have the system add it in for you from shipments as they are put it.

  2. Multi-location fulfillment is now available

    New Feature

    After months of development, you can now fulfill orders assigned to different locations.

     

    To get started, navigate to Integrations -> Sales Channels, click 'Open' next to your Shopify store, and ensure you map your store's location with Ricemill's location.

  3. Importing Both Pending and Paid Orders

    New Feature

    We've added the ability to import both pending (unpaid) and paid orders.

    Add feature for Ricemill to allow fulfillment of order pending payment e.g., those that were made via a purchase order

    This is required since not all orders are paid at the time of fulfillment. Currently this means we need to go direct to the carrier and type everything in.

    Follow the below steps to allow the import of both pending and paid orders.

    • Go to Integrations->Sales Channels
    • Click Open next to your connected Shopify store.
    • Within the Settings tab, change the option 'Which orders should we import from Shopify?' to 'Pending and Paid orders'.

     

    Note: This setting is applicable to new orders placed after you've enabled it.

  4. Introducing the new "Batch Assign"

    New Feature

    We are excited to announce the release of our newest feature called "Batch Assign", which allows you to assign the same measurements and courier service to multiple shipments at once.

    The "Batch Assign" feature is designed to enhance your order fulfilment efficiency and simplify your shipping tasks. We believe it will be a valuable addition to your workflow.

    Batch Fulfil: Assign the same service to multiple orders

    In instances where a number of orders are being sent via the same service, it would save considerable time if all of those orders could be selected from the Batch Fulfil screen and assigned the same service. I am using 'If it packs it posts' flat rate satchels. Currently all my orders fit in the same sized satchel (medium). Presently I must individually assign the service to each order. For my last batch I had to repeat this identical task 23 times. If it could be done once it would save me and others a lot of time. Thanks for your consideration.

  5. Print Packing Slips & Pick Lists in A6 format

    New Feature

    You can now choose to print packing slips and pick lists in either A4 or A6 format. To change the format, go to Settings -> Documents.

    We currently print packing slips on A6 for all orders from Shopify - these normally double as address labels for Local Delivery orders and the current Ricemill format looks to be optimized for A4.

  6. Fulfil local pick up orders

    New Feature

    You can now easily fulfill your local pick-up orders directly within the app. Simply mark the order as 'ready for pick up' when the order is ready to be picked up by the customer, and click on 'mark as picked up' after the order has been picked up by the customer.

  8. Bulk export & import inventory dimensions via CSV

    New Feature

    We are excited to announce a new feature that simplifies managing your inventory dimensions! You can now export and import inventory dimensions in bulk via CSV files. Try it today!

     

    • Go to Inventory tab.
    • On the Inventory page, at the top right hand side of the screen, click Export.

    I'd love to add dimensions of all our products, but there isn't a feild in Shopify for that yet. EasyShip does this with a CSV inventory export out of their dashboard that you can add all dimensions to and upload.

  9. Introducing the ability to enter your own references for shipping labels

    You can now enter your own references when creating shipping labels.

    On fulfil order screen, toggle the "Additional Information (Optional)" and enter your reference into "Your reference" field.

    Allow user to manually edit reference on labels

    Hi, I usually would like to add the product name and size to my shipping labels on the Reference field so it helps me cross checking what I am shipping, the current reference field is automatically generated with some random codes that doesn't help anyone.

  10. Shopify: Enable/disable send fulfilment notification to recipient

    New Feature

    We've added a new option that lets you choose whether to instruct Shopify to send fulfilment notifications to your customers after orders have fulfilled in the app.
